We appoint Alex Bell as our new US Managing Director
We have appointed Alex Bell as Managing Director for the American market. Bell will lead our continued expansion across the United States, where we now have active collars in 47 states.
Bell joins us with over 20 years of experience in agricultural technology. He previously served as CEO of Agoro Carbon Alliance and has held several international senior positions at Yara International. He also holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and the London School of Economics. Having served as interim Sales Director for the US since early 2025, he already knows our organization and the market well.
– Nofence is in the process of revolutionizing how producers manage their livestock, and I am proud to lead the American team during this phase, says Bell.
He describes American livestock producers as both curious and pragmatic.
– When they see that it works, the orders for more collars start coming in.
CCO Marielle Hvide is clear about why this appointment matters right now.

Alex combines commercial instinct with an understanding of what American producers actually need. He understands both the strategic and practical challenges of modern livestock production, which makes him a perfect fit as we now roll out our technology at greater scale, she says.
Since we began collaborating with producers and research communities across the US in 2022, our technology has found its way into a wide range of applications: from grazing cattle on cover crops, using goats to mitigate fire prone areas, to sheep managing vegetation on solar fields. What they all have in common is that producers become less dependent on the struggles of physical fencing that are not easily fenced.
The US is fast becoming one of our most important markets, and Hvide emphasizes that having the right team in place is critical to succeeding in the next phase.
– It is absolutely essential that we now have the right person and team in place. With Alex, we have a leader who has both the insight and the drive to succeed.
