Works where you work
Nofence connects to the cellular network straight from the collar. No base stations, no ground wire, no extra hardware.
Why it matters
Check on your animals, update boundaries, and react to alerts without leaving home or driving out to the pasture. Good coverage means your operation stays responsive no matter where you are.
Weather shifts, forage runs out, a paddock needs rest. Move your herd or redraw boundaries right from your phone, without waiting until you can get there in person.
Real-time location and alerts mean you always know where your animals are and if something needs attention.
What cellular is for, and what it isn't
Cellular keeps you connected: it sends boundary updates to the collars, delivers real-time location, and pushes alerts when something changes. But your animals stay contained whether or not there's a signal. Once boundaries are stored on the collar, GPS handles containment on its own.
"With Nofence, I can track and contain the herd even in areas where I couldn’t buy a signal with a 400-foot tower."

What about poor coverage?
That's what HerdNet is for. If just one collar in the herd has a signal, it shares updates with the rest via Bluetooth. Most operations see full synchronization even in areas with limited or intermittent coverage. No towers, no base stations, nothing extra needed.
Network coverage in the US
Nofence collars connect to AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon (coming spring 2026). The collar automatically selects the network with the best signal in your area.
