Nofence system features
Built with producers, for producers. Features that solve real problems in the field.
“We’ve got a great start with Nofence, but the possibilities are endless. We’re excited about what the future holds. This is just the beginning.”

HerdNet™
Your herd's own local network. Collars communicate with each other via Bluetooth, so boundaries stay synchronized even where cellular coverage is weak or patchy.
If just one collar has a signal, it fetches updates and shares them with nearby collars via Bluetooth. The whole herd stays current without every collar needing its own connection.
HerdNet makes connectivity a team effort. Because collars coordinate and share data between themselves, each collar checks in far less frequently using dramatically less energy and prolonging the battery life.
HerdNet mimics how livestock naturally move as a group, creating smooth boundary transitions without requiring simultaneous collar connections.
Graze the unfenceable. Steep draws, ridgetops, dense brush, or areas with limited coverage. HerdNet opens up ground that wasn't practical before.
Reduced Activity Detection
Early insight for confident livestock care. Get notified when an animal's movement decreases significantly, helping you spot health issues, calving events, or injuries before they escalate.
Get notified when movement drops noticeably compared to the animal's normal pattern and herd averages.
Works alongside No Movement Detection to catch gradual changes that indicate limping, low energy, or early illness, not just animals that have stopped moving entirely.
The system learns what's normal for each animal and compares it against the rest of the herd for accurate, personalized alerts.
Stay informed even when you're not nearby. Nofence provides the insight; you decide when and how to respond.
"After getting this notification I knew immediately why. She had gone into labor and delivered two babies! I absolutely love this feature and Nofence has once again made my life so much easier!"
