Welcoming Jeff Glasson as our new CPTO
We have appointed Jeffrey Glasson as our new Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO). The appointment follows our Series B funding round of approximately NOK 350 million, one of the largest agritech investments in Europe in 2025, and marks our transition from startup into an exciting new phase of scaling.
Jeff takes on overall responsibility for product and technology development across hardware, software and entirely new product areas. His role is to build an organisation that can scale in step with our ambitions.
He brings a strong background from leadership roles at international technology companies, including experience from Apple and VMware, as well as several senior positions in product and technology management. He has served as VP of Engineering at the German scale-up Contentful, and most recently as CTO at TWAICE, where he led the product and technology organisation through a period of significant growth.
– Jeff joins us at a defining moment in our development. We have demonstrated strong product-market fit and clear customer value, and now the focus is on scaling our technology, platform and organisation in a robust and sustainable way. Jeff has solid experience building technology teams and products that can withstand rapid growth, and will play a central role in the next phase of our journey, says CEO Joachim Kähler.
Jeff is equally clear about what drew him to Nofence.
– Nofence uses modern technology to solve one of the oldest challenges we have: how we manage grazing and livestock. It is rare to get the opportunity to work on such complex technical problems in a market where the solution makes a real difference in people's everyday lives. At the same time, the company is at the start of a scale-up phase, and that kind of transformation is something I have done before and genuinely enjoy.
Jeff is American, and with him in place we are positioning our technology and organisation for further international expansion and continued development of our product portfolio within smart animal and grazing management.
– We need to become even more data-driven in how we prioritise and develop products, whilst building stronger customer empathy across the whole organisation. Looking ahead, I also see significant opportunities to expand our offering beyond fencing itself, into areas such as animal health, herd monitoring and AI-assisted grazing management, he says.
We are also pleased to confirm that Egil Anonsen will continue with us. Egil has been instrumental in professionalising and building our technology and development organisation, laying a solid foundation for our continued growth. He will work closely with Jeff, contributing his experience and product knowledge with a focus on advanced product development.
As we enter 2026, we have surpassed 110 employees globally, representing 24 nationalities, with a presence across several European markets and the United States.
