ACRES – Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme

Ireland

ACRES is Ireland's flagship agri-environment climate scheme with a €1.5 billion budget running to 2027. It supports farmers in addressing biodiversity decline through a range of targeted landscape actions, including grazing management. Virtual fencing has been used in ACRES-supported projects.
